ABOUT ME
My name is Guilherme Keim, though most people know me as Gui Keim. I’m a Brazilian photographer and model, with over seven years of experience working in the fashion industry.
Photography came into my life naturally. After years in front of the camera, I had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most talented photographers around the world. Being on set, observing how images were created, and experiencing fashion from the other side of the lens shaped the way I see photography today.
I started photographing just over a year ago, and from the very beginning, I fell in love with it. Perhaps my years as a model gave me a different understanding of the relationship between the photographer, the subject, and the camera — but photography quickly became more than something I wanted to try. It became the way I wanted to create.
I’m especially drawn to artistic and expressive work. I love creating images that feel timeless, emotional, and intentional — photographs where light, texture, movement, and personality come together to tell a story.
My experience in front of the camera continues to influence everything I do behind it. It allows me to understand how it feels to be photographed and helps me create a space where people can feel comfortable, collaborative, and free to express themselves.
For me, photography is about more than simply capturing what is in front of the lens. It is about creating something that can be felt.
